LOCATION :-
Udaipur district is named after its principal city, Udaipur which was founded by MahaRana Udai singh about 1559 A.D and which acquired its name after him. It remained the seat of government of the erstwhile State of Udaipur for centuries. It is now the headquarter of the district administration.
Udaipur district is located between latitudes 23 0 46 , to 260 2' N and longitudes 730 35' E. It shares3 its borders with seven other districts of Rajasthan . It is bounded on the north by Ajmer and Pali districts, on the south by Dungarpur and Banswara, on the east by Bhilwara and Chittaurgarh districts and on the west by Pali and Sirohi districts.
Udaipur district comprises little less than half the portion of the former Mewar or Udaipur state and the territory occupied by recent district, formerly formed a part district of Girwa, Chirwa villege is its Historical and Cultural site since past centuries, where the Texshila VidyaPeeth Sansthan is situated.
To set up an Educational Institution,it becomes a mendatory that professional persons should possess rich experience, current knowledge and skill in the field and area of education.
BUILDING :-
As per requirements of NCTE/Rajsathan State Govt. and affiliting MLS University Udaipur, the institution is having infra sturstucture facilities. Which fullfills all norms and standards. The College Building and the land are as per NCTE norms and requirements to run the B.Ed. Course, including indoor and outdoor play grounds and other equipments.
The College is having a rich library with large reading room where 50 Students can sit at one time. The Library is having Appx. 4500 books including 1000 title books and at least 600 Refference books on the related course like Psychology, Philosophy, English, Hindi, Sanskrit, Social Science, Geography, History, Poltical Science, Home Science, Music, Art and Drama, Fine Art, Maths, Physics, Chemistry, Biology, Commerce, General Commerce, Computer Science, Micro teaching, Evaluation, School Administration, Health Education, Education Technology, Research, and other text books related to school subjects as per the syllabus of University/NCTE/Govt. The college also has a 10 sets of Encyclopedia, 25 Educational Journals , NewsPapers Magazines.
The college is having a Psychology Laboratary which is having many tests related to the subjects, as per NCTE norms and syllabus as like Intelligence test, Performance, Verbel, Non Verbal Aptitude test, Creativity test, Personality test, Attitude test etc.
In Science Lab of the college there are teaching and learning equipments like Microscope over head projector slide projector public system, Speermetere, Tray Slider, various Chemicals and Instruments related to class X and XII.
There is well managed language- lab, SUPW room, art room, music room and games room etc.
The colleges ET. Lab is having 25 Computers, 3 Printers, OHP, TV, VCR, VCD, Slide Projector, Various Slides, Blank Audio Cassetes, Video Cassetes, C.D., Transformors etc.
In college campus there is a multi purpose hall, 3 big class rooms, yoga terrace, other required teaching class rooms and administrative offices.
The college is having experienced Qualified teaching faculty as per NCTE/UGC/University norms.
History- At a Glance:-
The Udaipur State, also known as Mewar Kingdom, was a princely state in india at the time of the British Raj.
The state of Mewar was founded around 530; later it would also, and ultimately predominantly, called Udaipur after the name of the Capital. When Udaipur State joined the Indian Union in 1949 it had been ruled by the Chattari Rajputs of Mori Guhilot Parihar and Sisodia dynasties for over 1,400 years. Chittaurgarh was the capital Sisodia clans of Rajputs of Mewar. Chittorgarh fort have been built by Chitranganda Mori. He Built Chittor Fort about 7th century, Chitrakoot(chittor) was named after him. It is not known how many rulers of Mori Clan followed Chitranganda but the Man Mori was the last Mori ruler of Chittor from Bappa Rawal, Guhilot Prince of great repute got this Fort in 734 A.D.
