TAXSHILA VIDYAPEETH SANSTHAN is located at village Chirwa, Tehsil - Badgaon in Udaipur city, Distt.- Udaipur (Raj.). It is named after its principle city, Udaipur which was founded about 1559 A.D by MahaRana UdaiSingh father of MahaRana Partap the great national hero. It is renowned city of lakes and called the vanis of east. It is now the headquarter of the Udaipur district administration.
TAXSHILA VIDYAPEETH SANSTHAN is located Latitude/Longitude 24.7056763(North)/73.7433727(East). College is surrounded by famous historical sites as like Eklingji Temple, Saas Bahu Temple & Ruins of Nagda the ancient town. It is in the lape of beatuiful and natural green vally of Girwa of Aravali Range. Udaipur Distt shares its borders with seven other districts of Rajasthan. Udaipur is bounded on the north by Ajmer and Pali districts, on the south by Dungarpur and Banswara, on the east by Bhilwara and Chittaurgarh districts and on the west by Pali and Sirohi districts.
Once Udaipur(Mewar) was a precli state of INDIA before 1956 when the present Rajasthan state came in existance.
